To the Editor: Many residents of New Rochelle were concerned about low water pressure long before United Water filed for a 54 percent rate increase. Recently mid-rise and high-rise buildings constructed decades ago were told that to get water to the upper floors, they needed to put in a pump. To the Editor: I was happy to read in your paper that the New Rochelle firefighters endorsed Jim Maisano in his campaign for Supreme Court justice. We all know that our firefighters truly understand our community and their endorsement is important. Our city is lucky to have such a great fire department.
